Speechless...

Not much to say about it. This is exactly why I'm doing what I'm doing. Pass it on;)

  1. that was cool! BUT I also have issues! Because of bills passed I have to have all my fabrics tested for lead, and the snaps, and the elastic and the thread, and anything else I use, at $40 a pop per test one diaper would cost a ton more! I also have to have a tag stating a batch # and an item # and be able to track where everything for a certain diaper came from. For my fellow crafters who make like finger puppets, where do you attach a 2 inch tag? Sorry, I know these kind of causes are really good, and I am all for a healthier world for my kids, hence the CDing and other items. BUT ignorant laws do NOT help! Instead of applying that law to the lead filled toys that we HAVE to export into this country we force them on the WAHM's and little old grandma's that are trying to make a healthy alternative for the kids.
Sorry, it really was a nice video! and you are in Canada, so maybe it id different! :)

  3. Sorry, had to delete my first post with poor spelling!!!
Don't apologize!! You're right, where do you draw the line? I don't know either. I just wish it didn't have to be an issue. I think it is a great video for awareness to the issue. I certainly had no idea about the degree of toxicity in my own home until a few months ago. It would be nice if the powers that be would just stop allowing unsafe materials from being imported/manufactured. So there would be no demand for unsafe fabrics and more demand for safer alternatives. And the fabrics you purchase would already be tested by the government, instead of making you test them. It's a testament to your business though, that you care enough to look into it;) Go WAHM's!!
